BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry Announces Unopposed Election of New Governing Body for 2026–2029 Term
New Delhi [India], May 13: The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the elections for its Governing Body for the term April 2026 – March 2029. In accordance with the declaration issued by the Returning Officer, all nominated candidates have been elected unanimously and unopposed.
As the number of valid nominations received did not exceed the number of positions available, no formal voting process was required. Consequently, all candidates duly nominated for the respective positions have been declared elected.
The newly elected Office Bearers of BRICS CCI are as follows:
- Chairman: Sameep Shastri
- Vice Chairman: Shabana Nasim
- Vice Chairman: Atul Banshal
- Director General: Prann Sharma
- Director Finance: Ruhail Ranjan
In addition to the Office Bearers, the following distinguished members have been elected to the Governing Body of BRICS CCI for the term April 2026 – March 2029:
